About Benjamin S. Briggs

Benjamin S. Briggs represents clients in all aspects of labor and employment law, including OSHA defense, defense of discrimination, wage and hour, and retaliation claims, and drafting and enforcing employment contracts, restrictive covenants, separation agreements, and employee handbooks.

Ben grew up in West Michigan, where his family owns and operates the largest farm in the county. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ben worked for a roofing company and a billboard construction company. Ben also has family ties to the construction industry, with family members who are carpenters and commercial contractors.

Before joining Trent Cotney, P.A., Ben spent five years practicing employment and appellate law. Ben continues to utilize his diverse employment background and experience in his representation of clients with Trent Cotney, P.A.
