National Roofing Week
Annually, the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) recognizes the role that roofs and roofing contractors play in buildings and communities through its National Roofing Week. This year, the celebration will take place June 4-10. The week was established to not only raise awareness about the roof as a critical component of building construction and maintenance, but to celebrate the outstanding work of roofing contractors nationwide. These are initiatives that any roofing lawyer in Texas can get behind. Additionally, National Roofing Week was created to encourage homeowners to make informed decisions in regards to their own roofs.
NRCA members are encouraged to host various initiatives throughout the week to highlight National Roofing Week, including contributions to charitable organizations, community service projects, and training sessions for employees. NCRA members are also encouraged to capture their initiatives on social media by tagging NCRA and using the hashtag #nationalroofingweek. NCRA will promote the initiatives of its members through their own social media platforms as well as the Roof Scoop blog and Professional Roofing magazine. Each day during National Roofing Week, NCRA will assign a specific theme. These themes will include employee training, employee appreciation, charitable projects, signature projects, and celebrations.
As part of National Roofing Week, NRCA will also host their annual Children’s Art Contest, sponsored by A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply. The contest is open to children of NCRA members and their employees, grades 1-8. Winners of the contest will be featured on National Roofing Week materials.
