About David Kronenfeld
David Kronenfeld joined Cotney Construction Law in 2018. His practice areas encompass a broad range of transactional matters across multiple industries. David works with clients throughout the entire lifespan of their company from formation and choice of entity to operating and shareholder agreement drafting to private placements, contracts and various corporate governance matters all the way through exit strategies, including business succession planning and merger and acquisition transactions.
David received a full academic scholarship to Washington & Lee University where he was captain of the cross-country team and double majored in European History and Chinese Language and Literature. He went on to attend Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. During law school, David worked abroad for a Chinese law firm as well as a boutique firm catering to private equity transactional work. Following law school, David worked as an associate for a small Midwest investment bank where he assisted with M&A transactions across a wide spectrum of industries including produce distribution, specialty chemical manufacturing and raw material producers for the construction industry.
Moving to Tampa in 2012, David served as in-house counsel for a small publicly traded company before working in private practice for two years. He brings a diverse skill set to Cotney Construction Law and applies those skills to the advancement of the transactional needs of his clients. In his free time, you can find David hunting, fishing or out for a run.
